EXO Tao has just posted on Weibo about his newest personal studio in China. This seems to be the official start of his solo career as an artist.
The official Weibo of the said studio which was followed by the personal account of Tao rendering it authentic posted, "Hi everyone! This is Huang Zitao (Z.TAO)'s official studio. In the future, Tao's news and activities will be announced and updated here. The account is being verified. We welcome everyone to follow us."
His father showed support later on and posted, "#Huang Zitao# Huang Zitao's official studio has been established today! Everyone is welcomed to follow."
SM Entertainment has yet to speak in regard to the launching of the studio nor about Tao's alleged departure from EXO since the time a representative from the agency released a statement saying they were in a productive conversation with his father.
After the news of the Chinese member broke out about his travel to the United States to continue his studies and heal his injuries, Tao has returned to China to attend the opening event for a game launching on June third.
The Chinese mobile game "Chao Shen Zhan Dui" has hired Tao as its newest ambassador.
Tao was not introduced as an EXO member but rather as a "popular Asian idol" Huang Zitao raising suspicions that the member is testing the waters whether the audience is ready to accept him as a solo artist.
Tao has cut his connections with the group, signing with a different name, and removed the EXO tag in his social media accounts.
Meanwhile, EXO's fans in Korea were in disbelief about the recent events concerning the member-in-talk.
"He's supposedly sick but he's shooting CFs in China. Why does his dad want him to leave the group because he's worried about his health but he's not worried about his health when he's working in China," and "Is his face even popular in China? Would he have even landed this CF in China if not for his EXO title? Honestly curious," were some of the comments by the angered fans.
EXO Tao has not given any clear statement on his position in relation to EXO since the news of his departure from EXO took over the headlines for months. His recent activities in China has yet to be given explanations because legally, he is still part of SM Entertainment just like Kris (Wu Yi Fan) and Luhan who left the group to venture on their solo careers.
