"Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae" demo has been updated to version 2.0 last June 9, 2015, as promised by Square Enix. The newest updates include enhacements to the gameplay, combat and other more features. Enhancements include support for full native 1080p and of course, an improved frame rate.
"Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae" was initially intended to help the enhancement of the combat system and fix several issues. According to Digital Spy, his update also introduces enhancements to the battle system with additional combination techniques, as well as re-balancing and bug fixing, a more stabilised frame rate, and a new battle against a massive opponent.
However, after almost ten years in the making, according to many, the wait was worth it. The updated demo, which is now available, improved and added the following new features:
The big monster in the lake, Catoblepas can now be defeated. Beware that Catoblepas would take around 20 minutes to defeat with all your characters at level 99. Take note that even with all 4 of your characters, it can still knock you out in one hit. According to Siliconera, here are some other details that the update will include: Added cooperation attacks that come from ally suggestions, guarding just before being hit by an enemy attack will no longer consume MP, evasive maneuver has been changed into a dodge roll, no longer consumes MP, can be shifted into from various actions, pressing the left stick during a consecutive attack will change the attack movement, you can now charge great sword attacks by holding down the button and the attack power, MP consumption, and more have been adjusted.
Another is that you can now warp out of battle to certain locations. There will also be new team combo attacks using all 4 party members. An exciting new addition, according to Gematsu, are new side quests which will involve just you or you can still include Noctis and another character.
One of the main and original themes of "Final Fantasy XV" is the friendship and camaraderie that is formed by these characters along their journey so hopefully, with additional interactions between the characters, the players will have a greater sense of their friendships.
