T-Mobile offers the LG G Pad F 8.0 for free for Father's Day; Units Available in Limited Numbers Only

By

T-Mobile has got a special deal for Fathers' Day. That is, the LG G Pad F 8.0 will be given away for free to those who'll sign up for a qualifying data plan. Customers can have a brand new LG G Pad F 8.0 tablet for $0 down payment, a $ 0 monthly charge on top of the $10 monthly charge for data plan.

How this works

Interested buyers will have to sign up under postpaid Simple Choice Mobile Internet plan to activate this dad tablet on T-Mobile, along with the installment plan. The Internet plan provides a minimum of 1 GB of data, but those that require more can opt for up to 5 GB. The latter, of course, means paying for extra data consumption.

Is this good enough a deal?

For intended users that require no more than Internet browsing, social media, emails, and occasional casual game, it can be considered as such. And with the carrier plan attached with the tablet, it certainly is something to consider especially those who have been planning to get an affordable tablet with data plan.

However if your father is a hard-core user, this LG G Pad F 8.0 may not suffice. There's also the 2 year contract that customers have to continue availing to keep the tablet for free. If a customer opts to cancel the plan, the remainder of the $239.76 full price should be settled.

Specs

The LG G Pad F 8.0 features a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 1 GB of RAM, and 16 GB of internal storage that can be expanded with the microSD card slot. It sports an 8-inch HD and IPS display, 5 MP camera with flash, and 4200 mAh battery. The device supports Android 5.0 Lollipop and has 4G LTE connectivity as indicated in the T-Mobile website.

T-Mobile is offering the LG G Pad F 8.0 in limited numbers only. So, interested buyers have to keep their eyes on it and the updates that the mobile carrier will be releasing soon about this promo.
