Game of Thrones Season 5 has already ended with the death of Jon Snow. With season 6 on its way, there are numerous plot speculations including the return of, none other than, Jon Snow. Big dragons are also expected to fly on the 6th installment of the TV series. Meanwhile, the beginning of the Game of Thrones Season 6 is believed to be the trigger for the release of George R.R. Martin's Winds of Winter.
According to Independent, the season 6 may start April of next year. But more spoilers are going to come in the next months as the team will already start with the production. Apart from that, the next installment of Game of Thrones will have huge dragons on the way. We had a sneak peek of these monsters during the previous season. Given that, there is a huge possibility that the same dragons will be seen next season, only bigger and more vicious.
George R.R. Martin is very much working on the 6th book of The Song of Ice and Fire. This has been shared by the author in his blog. Last June 10, as reported by IBTimes, he mentioned that he is working on a chapter but did not disclose anything further.
In addition, the author also confirmed that he will not write for the sixth season of Game of Thrones. He admitted that writing a script might take him 3 weeks, at least. That means, there will be delays in Winds of Winter if he will accept the writing gig. As shared by Cinema Blend, George R.R. Martin is confident that David Benioff, Bryan Cogman and D.B. Weiss could complete the 6th season and would still amaze its fans.
