It looks like Ubisoft has gotten enough feedback from fans of Tom Clancy's The Division that an exclusive beta is coming to Xbox One before this year ends. The game's official release date is also now revelead which will be on March 8 next year.
Gamer have been hearing about the game for a while now and then learned it will not arrive this year but on the first quarter next year. And now, a solid release date has been confirmed directly coming from the game's official website:
"Today, we are extremely thrilled to finally answer the question that has been on your lips for months!
Tom Clancy's The Division will launch on Xbox One, PlayStation®4 system, and PC on March 8, 2016!"
More good news is coming for Xbox One owners who will get a chance to play a little earlier than anyone else which will be this December. Beta version for PS4 and PC will follow early next year. Ubisoft says more about the beta:
"Community is at the heart of what we do, and we're designing Tom Clancy's The Division from the bottom up with you in mind. We can't wait to explore our chaotic New York City with you, or steal your loot in the Dark Zone!"
"Our goal is to create the best game possible, together with you. With this in mind, we want to provide an opportunity to get your hands on Tom Clancy's The Division, to test and experience the latest version of the game before it launches. The dev team will use this opportunity to make sure the game is balanced and the servers are ready for a smooth launch. We are thrilled to announce that this will be happening starting this December, as we welcome some of you to the beta!"
