By

The Legend of Zelda shows a lot of promise to avid followers of the franchise as Nintendo announced key features of the new version of the game. It will feature a co-op multiplayer type of adventure which could comprise up to three participants. Eiji Aonuma, the producer of the series, as well as Hiromasa Shikata, game director, gave a run through on how the title will feel like for gamers. The new Legend of Zelda: Triforce Heroes will arrive in 2015 Fall season for the Nintendo 3DS.

While the franchise has delivered multiplayer aspects in previous releases, the publisher intends to create an environment of cooperative gameplay as opposed to competition. As Shikata explained, "I wanted players to cooperatively enjoy more serious Zelda gameplay elements, like solving puzzles and going through dungeons."

A video footage of The Legend of Zelda: Triforce Heroes was described in IGN as showing a totem mechanic. Link could use his two other companions to pile on top of the other to get to higher ground, attack vulnerable spots of enemies, as well as turn on switches.

The Nintendo 3DS title will also be more pleasing to the eyes, both in terms of style and action, as Shikata mentions the presence of a fashion aspect. Gamers will be able to produce outfits equipped with new abilities through the items they collect. On the trailer of Legend of Zelda: Triforce Heroes, several outfits have been flaunted such as the Lucky Loungewear, a Zelda Dress, Spin Attack Attire, as well as a Big Bomb Outfit.

Another report on the title emphasizes the importance of teamwork to survive the multiplayer gameplay. Nonetheless, Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes also features a single player mode wherein Link is accompanied by two dolls as he ventures through dungeons.

Nintendo will surely please a lot of gamers in The Legend of Zelda Tri Force Heroes. The title will be playable on the Nintendo 3DS and is scheduled to arrive in this year's fall.
