Batman Arkham Knight amasses collection of good reviews ahead of nearing launch

By

With Batman Arkham Knight just about ready to launch, the game is getting a variety of good press with rave reviews coming out in support of the game.

According to Screen Rant, Batman Arkham Knight currently has a 91% score on Metacritic, putting it right at the level of previously released Arkham Asylum, and just behind Arkham City, which tallied a 96% score.

The game is drawing heaps of positive feedback due in large part to its devotion to creating a sprawling, new world filled with complexity and stunning visuals. Critics also laud Rocksteady Studios for managing to add even more into the already vast world of the franchise so as to give it a proper send-off.

The new features added by Batman Arkham Knight, such as more playable characters and a fully-operational Batmobile, have also been well-received.

Despite the significant amount of critical acclaim and overall positive feedback touting the game, some are still concerned about how well the game might do particularly in light of recent news.

According to Cinema Blend, it looks like the critics are the only ones who will have experience using the Batmobile in the game, as Batman Arkham Knight: Batmobile Edition has reportedly been pulled.

The Batmobile Edition was reportedly scratched due to concerns that the vehicle was not made as well it could have been for the game..

That's not the only problem, as Eurogamer also reported that the Limited Edition of Batman Arkham Knight, the one which comes together with the Batman statue, has also been delayed.

Apart from the statue, the Limited Edition also contained a custom art book, a steel bookcase, limited edition comics, and an exclusive character skin pack.

In order to avoid a flood of angry gamers on their websites when Batman Arkham Knight is scheduled to be released, online retailers such as Gamestop and Amazon have provided customers who ordered the Limited Edition with download codes for the game.

Batman Arkham Knight is set to launch on June 23.
