No Samsung Galaxy S7 will be out this year?

By

Samsung, one of the leading smartphone companies in the world is announcing the release of its new flagship phone, the Samsung Galaxy S7. Reports say that the Galaxy S7 is set to be out to compete with Apple's iPhone 6s. However, though it was said that Samsung is a bit scared of the release of iPhone 6s, there were reports saying that iPhone users ditched Apple to transfer to Samsung.

Dubbed as the new Samsung Galaxy S7, rumors spread that it would release sooner than it's expected to compete with Apple's iPhone 6s. However, according to Master Herald, there might be no new Samsung Galaxy line that will be released this year, as it was just recently that the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge were launched in the market.

There were leaked specifications that the Samsung S7 has. One is the iris scanner, which secures the phone and only its users can actually have access on their respective handsets. Also, it will have a 4K screen resolution, which will be a better feature to the phone.

Galaxy S7 will be launched next year at the Mobile World Congress which will be held in February, as Christian Today has reported. The said phone will be offering a 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB internal storage, as well as 4-6 GB RAM.

BGR though wrote that plenty of Samsung users switched to Apple, as it already has phones with wide screens like iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. But there were surveys made that resulted to this: at a high rate, there were iPhone users who switched to Android, according to joint research by CompareMyMobile UK and GadgetValuer USA.

However, CompareMyMobile UK and GadgetValuer USA's consumers would still pick Apple iPhone 6 with a rate of 21.94% while it beat the rate of 18.50% of customers who would go for Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge.
