The release of 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' in Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD is expected this July 14th. The box office 2014 film did not include Rogue's story, that's why the Blu-ray version this year has Rogue in the title. 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' will be 17 minutes longer than the theatrical version. Meanwhile, its follow up film 'X-Men: Apocalypse' to be in theaters in 2016.
This coming July 11th in Reading Cinema, San Diego, California there will be an exclusive screening before the releasing of the home entertainment film 'X-Men: Days of Future Past Rogue Cut.' Fans with guaranteed two VIP tickets will have the chance to watch the movie that will be shown on four wide screens with a simultaneous film showing.
Meanwhile, the 'X-Men: Days of Future Past Rogue Cut' will be followed by 'X-Men: Apocalypse' with the confirmed role of Hugh Jackman being Wolverine. Yes, he played the role of Wolverine for like 15 years, but it was expected that the coming X-Men film would not include him as in the last film he was captured by Mystique.
'X-Men: Days of Future' grossed $748 million worldwide, making it the highest earning franchise. But the 'X-Men: Apocalypse' is one to watch out for, because according to latinpost.com, the film will be the biggest yet to release.
There were confirmed rumors about some of the cast of 'X-Men: Apocalypse.' Ian McKellen already told the Digital Spy that he will not be part of the current filming of X-Men. "I haven't heard [the rumors]. I don't think I am, no, no. They're currently making the film and I'm not in it,' McKellen said.
On the other hand, Fox announced last year that they will be making a 'mystery movie' to be released on 2018. According to slashfilm.com, it will be a 'Fantastic Four / X-Men' crossover. There are no details about the said filmmaking, though it has surfaced that it would come to theaters soon.
