The fans of the pop sensation, Justin Bieber, might already be wondering what his cameo will be about in the upcoming "Zoolander 2" which is scheduled for a February 2016 release. Fortunately for those fans, the "Boyfriend" singer has recently revealed that he is set to open the film with a very different set of skills -neither singing nor modeling, but doing parkour stunts instead.
In a recent interview with WWD, Justin Bieber has revealed that he is going to be featured in the opening moments of the forthcoming sequel. "I start the movie off. The first thing you see in the movie, which is pretty cool," the 21-year-old actor said. But that's not all; the singer has also announced that he is doing a parkour sequence in the flick -something he has never done before.
Though Bieber is somewhat new to the acting field, he stated that working on the sequel wasn't as hard as everyone expects it to be-thanks to Ben Stiller's reassuring way of directing. "I didn't expect Ben [Stiller] to be so hands on. It was really cool to have him direct me in such a non-threatening way. I wasn't intimidated at all."
Paramount Pictures' upcoming "Zoolander 2" will star Owen Wilson ("Night at the Museum", "The Internship"), Will Ferell ("Get Hard", "Step Brothers"), Penelope Cruz ("Pirates of the Carribean: The Stranger Tides", "The Counselor"), Christine Taylor ("Licensed to Wed", "The First Time") , Cyrus Arnold, Billy Zane ("Titanic", "The Phantom"). According to Coming Soon, Jonah Hill, Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, Cara Delevingne, Naomi Campbell and Anna Wintour are also rumored to appear in the comedy film.
"Zoolander" is directed by Ben Stiller with a screenplay written by Justin Theroux (Tropic Thunder).To find out why the singer is suddenly doing parkour in the upcoming comedy sequel "Zoolander 2", the fans are going to have to wait until the flick opens in cinemas February 12, next year.
