Last Wednesday. Bungie released some patch notes regarding patch 1.2.0.4. The patch made a small adjustment to the game but it focused more on the Trials of Osiris game mode. Bungie made 2 changes to the Trials of Osiris game mode by removing the Passage Coins that can be obtained from the Lighthouse reward chest and adding a chance to receive some Passage Coins even after losing a Trial match.
Bungie also adjusted the 402 Attack Rating for weapons acquired in the Destiny Demo down to the proper value of 365. Bungie took Destiny offline that day in order to make the necessary adjustments to their servers. After a few hours, Destiny servers were up and running again.
As seen in the patch notes by Bungie, there was a small change made to the attack rating of weapons that players acquired from the Destiny Demo and move into the full version of the game. It would definitely be unfair to other players if a weapon from a demo would have an attack rating that high. The patch's main focus however, is the Trials of Osiris game mode. Bungie explains Patch 1.2.0.4:"This update to Destiny makes two small adjustments to the way Passage Coins are distributed in Trials of Osiris and how weapons behave as players migrate from the Destiny Demo to the full version of the game. Pardon our dust!"
For Trials of Osiris, Gamezone reports that Passage coins can no longer be obtained from the Lighthouse rewards chest but now players have a chance to receive passage coins even if they lose a match. This change in the Trials of Osiris game mode can put players at ease now because they don't have to do the difficult task of making their way to the Lighthouse in order to get Passage coins.
These changes were made last Wednesday in a Server Maintenance Update. PlayStationLifeStyle reports that Bungie tweeted about their servers being shut down for a while and players will have to download a patch then re-login after the patch was installed.
Gamers can now enjoy exploring the Trials of Osiris, given the latest Destiny game adjustments. With the latest adjustments now available, a new level of gaming experience can be enjoyed by avid fans of the series as they go along the several exciting levels of the game.
