Taylor Swift was supposed to star and at least appear in one of the episodes of the upcoming show "Scream Queens" as per the announcement of the show's creator Ryan Murphy. However, Swift reportedly turned the offer down because her "1989" album world tour was already scheduled and she could not squeeze into her busy schedule filming an episode for the said show.
In a report by News Day, Ryan Murphy shared during the screening of "Scream Queens" that he always goes for Swift whenever he has a project. However, Taylow Swift's people noted that the pop star was just really busy and could not give Murphy a chance to work with her.
In another report from Hollywood Life, Taylor Swift would have played the mean girl as part of the sorority that the new Fox show will be focusing on. Murphy added in his statement that he has great affection for Swift and that she has always been so nice but he would really love to work with her someday as he is a really big fan.
Swift is indeed very busy as she has been jetting from one place to another whenever she gets a break from touring to meet with her family, friends, and her new boyfriend Calvin Harris.
Meanwhile, despite Swift not being able to do the project, Murphy shared that he is thankful that he was still able to book great stars for his show such as "Glee's" Lea Michele and Emma Roberts. Murphy talked about Michele playing a role that is non-glamourous and weird as she is obsessed with death in the show "Scream Queens." Michele will not be wearing make-up, will be using a neck brace, and will be stealing Roberts' boyfriend in the series.
Despite the on-screen tension between Michele and Roberts in the upcoming series "Scream Queens," the two are bonding even after work as they have posted a photo of them working out together, Inquisitr reported. Michele captioned the photo with the following statement: "Only @emmaroberts could make working out this hard so much fun! Love you lady! So happy we are here on this adventure together!"
"Scream Queens" will be premiering this September 22 on FOX.
