Star Wars Anthology: Rogue One description for a concept art has been released which is rumored to be a back story of one of the characters. Additional details have also been revealed such as alien life forms being introduced in the movie, as well as details about Stormtroopers, and Jedi.

Making Star Wars reportedly received a description for a Star Wars Anthology: Rogue One concept art and it tells about a tragic scene happening to a family. "Nighttime. Trees and bushes in the distance but you can see structures far out. In a clearing there's a little girl outside a fence. Her family is on the other side. The father is shouting to the little girl and Stormtroopers are coming for them. Mom is crying, older son looks resigned. Little girl has one foot behind her as if she's about to run. Stormtroopers had backpacks on with tubular riffles." the description read.

With this, many speculations surfaced that the description might be Felicity Jones' character's past, and might be the reason why Jones decides to fight the Empire. Also, another possibility is that the description might be a reminder of how cruel the Empire is, and why the Rebel Alliance is important.

Aside from the description, details have also surfaced about the movie and the characters. According to JoBlo, Star Wars Anthology: Rogue One is to be set during the Empire's dark time, between Episode III and IV. It will feature new aliens and droids, and a lot of alien life forms which include Mon Calamari. Jedi will take the backseat in the film, as they are said to be in hiding. Stormtroopers will also appear carrying the armors they carry in the original films.

At-Ats, X-Wings, Y-wings, At-Sts will be present, and a new droid will also reportedly join the rebels and attempt to get the Death Star Plans. The film will also feature Felicity Jones, ready for battle as a rebel soldier. The film is also said to be aiming to be like an old school war film, and is considered to be darker and grittier compared to the other films.

Also, the movie is said to be filmed in part using Arri's Alexa 65, large format 6k resolution model. The same type has also been used to film Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation for an underwater sequence.

Star Wars Anthology: Rogue One will be directed by Gareth Edwards, and its cast includes, Felicity Jones, Ben Mendelsohn, Forest Whitaker, Diego Luna, and Riz Ahmed. Snow White and the Huntsman star Sam Claflin is also said to join the cast. It is set to hit theaters in December 16, 2016.
