Warcraft Movie News : Orc characters come to life because of Motion Capture, reveals Duncan Jones; Leeroy Jenkins to make an apperance?

'Warcraft' will soon be lifted from the video games into the big screen as it is currently in its post-production stage. Orc characters will be brought to life by motion-capture performances and Robert Kazinsky in character photos released online has excited the fans for the release of the upcoming film. Also, Leeroy Jenkins might appear in the movie as Gary Whitta revealed photos of the film's first draft.

World of Warcraft movie adaptation, which is now simply called 'Warcraft' is currently being worked on for its special effects. The movie's director, Duncan Jones revealed that the film's motion-capture enables the practical backdrops and real life settings to blend together.

"Motion capture has become very specialized but also still just a tool of filmmaking. We tried to do a lot of large, in-camera sets so that we had an actual reality that the film was built on top of. Some of the time we had [actors doing motion capture] on location, some of the time we had them on set, sometimes there was green screen." He said.

The movie's visual effects are being supervised by Bill Westenhofer, and Jeff White, who are being praised Jones. He also particularly commended White for his work with the Orcs in the movie saying, "[Jeff White] absolutely nailed that character [Hulk in 'Avengers'], and orcs feel like they may have some of the same genetic background as the Hulk... When we found out that Jeff himself was actually an avid Warcraft player as well, it became clear how excited he was about playing in this universe. It was a match made in heaven," Jones said.

White's work with the Orcs has also impressed World of Warcraft fans after Robert Kazinsky's photo as the CGI Ogrim was released online. "We were looking for someone who would be able to perform the gruffness, the humor, and the toughness of this character." Jones said when asked about hiring Kazinsky for the role.

Meanwhile, Leeroy Jenkins might reportedly make an appearance as per the movie's screenwriter Gary Whitta's tweet of excerpts from the first draft of the movie. In the draft, Jenkins goes into battle with the Alliance Troops and Stormpike. He later dies after making a rather unwise move of attacking too early. It is still unclear whether or not Jenkins will make it to the final cut of the movie, as Whitta's photo is just the first draft.

Warcraft's cast includes Dominic Cooper, Paula Patton, Travis Fimmel, Ben Foster, Ruth Negga, and Clancy Brown. It is set to hit theaters in June 10, 2016.
