Ed Skrein Tries To Save His Father In "The Transporter Refueled" New Trailer; Film To Premiere September 4

EuropaCorp has recently released a new trailer for the latest installment in the "Transporter" franchise, "The Transporter Refueled. The 2-minute sneak peek of the upcoming movie features same old crazy car stunts, but this time, with crazier action, and a brand new leading man -"Game of Thrones" star Ed Skrein -who will try to save his father in the film. The all-new version is scheduled to hit the big screen in September 4.

Seven years after the previous installment of the French action film "Transporter", an all-new version beckons. Along with it, comes the new face of the former special-ops mercenary Frank Martin -Ed Skrein. As noted by We Got This Covered, Skrein has starred in the 2011 horror flick "The Tunnel" and 2012 British crime drama "Ill Manors". He is best known as the original Daario Naharis on "Game of Thrones" before he was replaced by the 33-year-old Michiel Huisman.

To give the fans another look on Skrein's portrayal of the highly-skilled transporter who used to be played by "Treminator Genisys" actor Jason Statham, EuopaCorp has released a new trailer for the upcoming "The Transporter Refueled". According to Slash Film, the new version follows Frank whose father was kidnapped afterone of his jobs gets him in deep with the wrong people.

Apart from Skrein, "The Transporter Refueled" will also star Ray Stevenson ("Thor", "Divergent"), Gabriella Wright ("Everly", "22 Bullets"), Radivoje Bukvić ("Taken", "Goodbye Morocco"), Anatole Taubman ("The Circle", "Quantum of Solace"), Loan Chabanol, Noemie Lenoir, Wenxia Yu and Tatiana Pajković.

The upcoming action flick is produced by "Taken" trilogy and "Lucy" helmers and is directed by Camille Delamarre ("Brick Mansions"). It was originally scheduled to debut in North America on March 6 but was pushed back to June 19. Now, the studio has set a September 4 US release for the Ed Skrein-starrer "The Transporter Refueled".
