For Honor will be Ubisoft Montreal's new fighting game with an interesting twist. Coming from its reveal during the recently concluded E3 2015, gamers have started talking about this game, although it is not expected until sometime in 2016. With an array of combat titles in the gaming market, suggestions on how For Honor stands out has been placed, together with other features about it that is known to date.
One of the interesting things to note about For Honor, as was reported on this website to recap, is the fact that it does not comply with history. This is because different kinds of fighters, being Vikings, Knights, as well as Samurais, have all been placed together. Those who know their timelines would understand that these classes came along in different eras.
Aside from the unusual combination of characters, For Honor will also be equipped with a new multiplayer mode style, where several ways to customize are open for the gamer. As noted in the article, the system of combat will play a huge role in making this title more distinguished. Each type of class will have specific qualities for how they will behave in battle.
The Creative Director for Ubisoft's blog, Jason Vandenberghe, makes a comment which goes, "I haven't actually been able to really put a name to For Honor's genre." Despite this sense of peculiarity, another report contests this, saying that it is fairly similar to other hack-n-slash titles like War of the Vikings and Chivalry. Nonetheless, For Honor still has its edge because it is seen to have a more polished gameplay.
For Honor does not have an exact release date yet, and is still in its early stages of development. Nonetheless, it has been suggested that the Ubisoft title will be available for the PC, the Xbox One, and the PlayStation 4 when it hits stores in 2016. Those who want to be on the loop for this fighting game should keep posted for upcoming news.
