Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has joined the league of devices that have undergone the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop update. Users of Note Edge can enjoy the perks of the new software with its set of new and old enhanced features.

Sprint and Verizon have already rolled out the new software update over the weekend. Earlier, T-Mobile and U.S. Cellular carriers released the upgrade to their subscribers.

The update released through OTA (over the air) boasts several features including factory reset protection and UI enhancements. As expected, the software has improved general performance tweaks, quick settings and material design makeover. There are also lock screen notifications, and project VOLTA, according to International Business Times.

Users can also expect 64-bit ABI support, improved runtime, new enhanced animations and 3-D views.

Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, LRX22C.N915VVRU2BOF2 was launched in phases so it is understandable that users will not receive the update at the same time. It can be downloaded manually and takes up 570MB.
