Windows 10 release date will be happening on July 10. The announcement came after a source revealed that Microsoft is on its final stage on testing Windows 10 and is now ready for RTM (release to manufacturing) edition.
According to The Verge, the titan company is preparing for launch of its Windows 10 RTM (release to manufacturing) edition that will be taking place this week. As a groundbreaking development after three years since Windows 8, it is expected that the software is not yet the final product but rather something that is continually updated for improvement.
The blog also wrote that they are gearing towards the readiness of Windows 10 by coordinating with 5 million Windows insiders. The company also states that they are working towards the software's readiness to serve their OEM partners and millions of retailers worldwide.
"With all of our ecosystem partners, we have been actively engaged to work on device and application compatibility. It's been amazing to see the teamwork taking place across companies to ensure a quality experience as our shared customers experience Windows 10 soon," Windows blog states.
"In our testing of millions of systems, we're seeing full compatibility today with the vast majority of Windows 8x and Windows 7x systems- and we are not yet done, we will never be done - we will be continuing this application and device compatibility work every day as part of our ongoing commitment to Windows as a service."
CNET reports that Windows 10 RTM edition will be bundled to PC makers so new PC owners can enjoy the newest software on their computer.
Windows 10 is the successor to Windows 8 that is tied up with many issues including its 'unfriendly' set up and Metro design. Windows 10 is here to fix all the bugs created by the previous software. There is a new browser, called Edge, start button returns and the design is now more user-friendly.
The prelaunch was part of the final Windows 10 release date that is scheduled on July 29.
