‘Boruto: Naruto the Movie’ Update: Latest trailer reveals a new 'Lightning Blade' as Film hits US Theaters this October

The highly anticipated animated film "Boruto: Naruto the Movie" is reportedly debuting in the United States on Naruto's birthday, October 10. The premiere will be reportedly held at the New York Comic Con which will take place from October 8 to 11, at Javitz Convention Center in Manhattan.

According to Yibada, Viz Media, the biggest publisher and distributor of manga in North America, released the "Hokage for a Day" promo in celebration of the well-known Naruto manga and the first-ever appearance of its creator, Masashi Kishimoto, at the 2015 New York Comic Con in October.It is reported that the lucky winner will rewarded a meet and greet opportunity with the creator oPrf the manga, as well as a package that already includes airfare, hotel accommodation, transportation, and NY Comic Con passes -all for two.

All the fans have to do is submit a short yet creative YouTube video explaining what Naruto means to them and how the series affected their lives. The winner will be reportedly chosen through a public voting and will be announced on Sept. 7.

Meanwhile, Design n Trends reports that "Boruto: Naruto the Movie" has recently released a new trailer featuring a few interesting clips, particularly in the concluding moments where Boruto is seen using the lightning blade. This is said to be some sort of confirmation that the boy will indeed be Sasuke Uchiha's student.

As previously reported, the upcoming movie will follow Naruto's son, Boruto, and his action-packed journey in surpassing his father's deeds. The list of cast includes Yuko Senpai as Boruto, Kokoro Kikuchi as Sarada as well as returnees Junko Takeuchi as Naruto Uzumaki, and Noriaki Sugiyama as Sasuke Uchiha. It will also feature Ryūichi Kijima as Mistuki, Atsushi Abe as Inojin Yamanaka, Saori Hayami as Himawari Uzumaki, Kensho Ono as Shikadai Nara, Daisuke Namikawa as Momoshiki, and Hiroki Yasumot as Kinshiki.

"Boruto: Naruto the Movie" is directed by Hiroyuki Yamashita, "Naruto Shippuden" episode and "Road to Ninja: Naruto the Movie" helmer. Prior to its Comic Con release, it is slated to hit Japanese theaters first on August 7.
