StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void Archon Mode feature debut is slated on July 21 in an Archon Mode Tournament to be held at the ESL Studios in Burbank, California.
The Archon mode feature will allow players the 1-vs-1 multiplayer experience in a team setting, where both players share control over a single base working together to fight against a single opponent. Stuff that is usually done by a single person will now become shared responsibilities such as building a base, creating, and controlling armies, managing resources, and scouting.

According to reports, four of the best Starcraft 2 players will battle in a 2v2 Archon Mode match on 21st of July at the event called "All Work All Play: The Pursuit of eSports Glory" at the ESL Studios in Burbank, California. The four gamers are Chris "Huk" Loranger, Kevin "qxc" Riley, Brandon "puCK" Loranger, and Geoff "iNcontroL" Robinson. This tournament is said to be followed by a Q&A which will be broadcasted live.
In April, a Beta test of StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void was launched and while the game is still in development stage for a final release, Blizzard has announced that they will be releasing Whispers of Oblivion, a prologue to the final expansion of Starcraft 2 with "a special three-mission prologue series created to bridge the storyline between Heart of the Swarm and Legacy of the Void."
"In Whispers of Oblivion, players will join Zeratul for the first time since Wings of Liberty to unravel the final piece of the Xel'naga prophecy," official announcement reads.
StarCraft 2: Whispers of Oblivion will be free for everyone and prior to that, Blizzard will be giving early access to the Prologue missions for those who have pre-ordered StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void.
Startcraft 2: Legacy of the Void is second expansion set for release that will focus primarily on the Protoss race with Artanis as its main protagonist. The game is developed for Windows PC and Mac OS X that began its beta testing on March 31 featuring a host of new multiplayer experience offered only to a select few gamers.
