Bloodborne Patch 1.05 Live July 13th to Improve Online Experience; 1st Major DLC to Predate Dark Souls 3 Early 2016 Launch?

By

The well-received Bloodborne, the PS4 exclusive title developed by From Software, is all set to receive its newest Patch 1.05 on Monday, July 13th, bringing in several fixes to known bugs so as to optimize the fan's online gaming experience.

Sony PlayStation Japan has revealed that Bloodborne Patch 1.05 goes live this coming Monday, July 13, following a server maintenance update that will be happening where online play will not become accessible at that time.

This new update for Bloodborne offers tweaks to enhance and smoothen the gamer's online play experience. The full patch notes are stated as follows:

  • If a player uses the Beckoning Bell or Small Resonant Bell while using a password, it will be clearly indicated that a password is in use
  • If the level difference between the host and the guest when matched using a password is large, the guest's stats will be adjusted to match the host's
  • Other bug fixes and matching improvements

In related news, fans can also watch out for the previously announced massive expansion pack for Bloodborne that will be released before 2015 comes to a close. This news was confirmed earlier by Sony Worldwide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida, however, details on this announcement are scant at this point other than it is reported to require a hefty amount of hard work.

A solid release date has not been revealed either but Yoshida did confirm that fans can possibly get their hands on Bloodborne first DLC before the year ends.

Movie Pilot opines that From Software's first Bloodborne DLC should be launched late this year to predate the release date of Dark Souls 3 which is set early next year, otherwise, the new expansion pack for the game will not be raking in that much sales.

Patch 1.05 arrives to PS4 exclusive title, Bloodborne, on July 13 across North America including other regions following a server maintenance update while the first DLC is expected to be released for the game before end of 2015 that predates the early 2016 release of Dark Souls 3.
