Actress Jaimie Alexander will be back as Lady Sif in "Thor 3: Ragnarok". Alexander, who was previously considered to play Wonder Woman in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice", believes Gal Gadot will kick some ass.
Jaimie Alexander confirmed during the recent 2015 Comic Con that she will appear with the same role on Thor's third instalment entitled Ragnarok, reports Examiner. Alexander starred in "Thor" and "Thor: The Dark World". Aside from the said movies, she also portrayed Lady Sif in ABC's "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."
Alexander was one of those considered for the role of Wonder Woman for "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice". When asked what she thinks about Gal Gadot who was chosen for the role, Alexander says Gadot will surely kick some ass.
Thor is played by Chris Hemsworth while his brother Loki will be portrayed again by Tom Hiddleston. According to International Business Times, "Thor: Ragnarok" will be a crucial movie since it will be a sort of a prequel to "Avengers: Infinity War" where the superheroes will face the Mad Titan Thanos. Thor is not also in Captain America: Civil War.
Meanwhile, more information about the director and writer will be announced soon. Fans will get to know if there will be a new filmmaker/writer or not as well as additional plot and cast before the summer ends. Marvel boss Kevin Feige also clarified reports that Kenneth Branagh, the director for the first Thor instalment, will do the latest sequel, saying that this is not true.
MNR Daily says additional characters will be introduced in "Thor: Ragnarok". Filming will start middle of next year and the setting will be in Asgard.
The movie was supposed to be released on July 2017 but was postponed to November 2017 instead. Comi Book says this is to give way for a Spiderman reboot.
"Thor: Ragnarok" opens in theatres on November 3, 2017 instead.
