Persona 5 to Feature Social Link System, Evolve Graphics, Sound and Ill-Behaved Characters, Reveals Director

Director Katsura Hashino has dished some major spoilers on the highly anticipated release of Persona 5, the fifth installment of the game series, set to release Winter 2015 on PS4, PS3, and PS Vita consoles.

As translated via a report courtesy of Siliconera, Hashino has teased fans on what to expect from the upcoming Persona 5 game.

"For this game, we're going with a challenge that fuses together a juvenile school setting that is as large as life, together with a picaresque romance. In the previous game, we wrote a story that involved having a justice group chase down a bad guy that could easily be feared by just about anyone."

He added saying, "This time, it's about a group of high school students that are being 'chased' by unexpected occurrences due to the justice they believe in. We're writing [the story] to convey a thrilling everyday life in the shoes of these characters, that are as large as life, in this juvenile school setting."

Also, the game director has confirmed that Persona 5 will be packed with evolved graphics, sound and more ill-behaved characters. The protagonist in the game will be seen to grow amidst studying, working, and interacting with other people. The social link system feature is said to be added which was in the predecessor Persona 3 and Persona 4 titles.

Latino Post wrote that the game franchise was first introduced on PlayStation way back in 1966. Five additional versions and spin-offs were developed after the original title, namely, Revelations: Persona, Persona 2: Innocent Sin, Persona 2: Eternal Punishment, Persona 3, Persona 3 FES, Persona 3 remake for PSP, Persona 4 and Persona 4 Golden for PS Vita.

As reported earlier via Game Zone, a historical evidence points to a well-founded speculation that fans can expect to hear more solid details for Persona 5 release date come August. Based on some tradition, the game's latest series usually comes with its own magazines published on the same month of the game's launching.

To review a number of examples, the magazine issued in spring was published four days after the release of PQ in Japan and the September issue of the said magazine also came out on the exact day that Persona 4 Arena Ultimax was released and currently, the July 2015 issue of the said magazine was released when Persona 4 Dancing All Night was launched this year.

A loose translation of a captured image posted by Game Zone indicates that the upcoming Persona Magazine will hit store shelves Winter 2015 further suggesting that Persona 5 launching in December 2015 is very much likely to happen. Get excited.
