Boruto is set for an adventure in the upcoming Boruto: Naruto the movie. New villains are rumored to be joining the role as characters who might make an appearance have also been released. The movie rumored to hit theaters in the US, a couple of months from now.
Naruto's son, Boruto, will soon embark on a journey as a student ninja in Konoha in the upcoming Boruto: Naruto the movie. Aiming to surpass his father's achievements, Boruto strives to become a better ninja under the watch of Sasuke Uchiha as his teacher.
Boruto is said to acquire the skill called Lightning Blade, which he will learn from Sasuke. Aside from that, he is also rumored to acquire some of Sasuke's fire and lightning techniques.
Also, being in the same team, Sasuke's daughter, Sarada Uchiha, might also reportedly become Boruto's love interest or rival in the movie.
Meanwhile, the issue 33 of Shonen Jump reportedly feature the two new villains which will bring danger in the upcoming movie. The said villains are Momoshiki, and Kinoshiki, both from the Otsutsuki Clan, like Kaguya and Hagoromo. The clan's main objective is to steal Kurama from Naruto.
The characters to appear in the film include Sakura, Sai, Rocklee, and Hinata. They are also to be joined by Konohamaru, Shikamaru, Kurotsuchi, Tsuchikage, Chojuro, Mizukage, Darui Raikage, and Gaara. It also includes Mitsuki, the third member of Boruto and Sarada's team, Sai and Ino's son, Inojin Yamanaka, Shikamaru and Temari's son, Shikadai Nara, and Boruto's sister, Himawari Uzumaki.
Boruto: Naruto the movie will be released in Japan on August 7, although tickets are already available for purchase since June 27. The movie is said to be hitting theaters in October 10, which is also Naruto's birthday, and around the same time that Naruto series creator Masashi Kishimoto will be at the New York Comic Con which will be from Oct 8-11. Kishimoto is the movie's director, character designer, and script writer.
