God Of War 3 Remastered for the PlayStation 4 was just released last July 14 and this remastered version of the game upgraded the graphics quality of the original God Of War 3 from 720p to 1080p resolution and increases the frame rate from 30 fps to 60 fps. A photo mode was added to the game so players can take screenshots from the game.
God Of War 3 was originally released for the PlayStation 3 last March 16, 2010 and five years after this the remastered version of the game was released for the PlayStation 4 last July 14, Monday. All of the gore in God Of War 3 is now HD thanks to the resolution being upgraded from 1080p from 720p according to a report from Tom's Guide. The original God Of War 3 was supposed to come out with a 1080p resolution but the developers downgraded it to 720p.
The frame rate was also increased from 30 frames per second to 60 frames per second which allows players to keep up with the fast paced action. The frame rate however, is not locked to 60 fps according to IGN but it stayed near 60 fps and did not drop to a noticeable degree. This allows more fluid movement when playing.
As for the new features added to the game, there was only one that was added in order to maintain the game's authenticity. The new photo mode, according to Game Informer, allows players to take a screen shot after players pause the game. They can also adjust the zoom but there are some restrictions to the camera movement which may make this mode quite hard to use.
God Of War 3 Remastered is a third person action adventure game developed by Santa Monica Studio for the PlayStation 4. This is a remaster of the third and final installment in the God Of War Series. It was released last July 14, Monday and is now available for purchase in stores.
