A powerful Apocalypse, Psylocke and Magneto are shown in the first official look of "X-men: Apocalypse" unveiled by a magazine recently. Olivia Munn who plays the role of Psylocke, described her outfit as "sexual". Unfortunately, she had a wardrobe malfunction during the very first day of filming the movie sequel.
THE BIG A
Entertainment Weekly's cover page for last week shows Apocalypse in between Psylocke and Magneto as it features "X-Men Apocalypse". This is the first reveal of the three of the characters of the said movie in their costumes where Apocalypse is said to be the main villain.
Inquisitr reports that Olivia Munn, who plays Psylocke, shared her experience wearing her thigh-high costume that exposed her bikini area. In fact, that part was the one that popped due to her skin-tight fit outfit.
PLOT
Apocalypse, a 5000 year old Egyptian mutant, is said to be the focus of the new movie. Oscar Isaac, who portrays the role, was quoted as saying that Apocalypse was the first mutant who wants to destruct the Earth by eliminating civilizations when things do not go well.
According to Director Bryan Singer, "X-Men: Apocalypse" will serve as an introduction to younger characters such as Jean Grey, Cyclops and Storm. Set in the 80's, ten years after "X-Men: Days of Future Past", Apocalypse will awaken from his Egyptian tomb. Seeing that the world is at war, he recruits special assistants such as Psylocke who is working behind the Iron Curtain for mutant-broker Caliban, and Magneto (also known as Erik) who starts to live a normal life in Poland without using his magnetic powers. Magneto, played by Michael Fassbender, has fallen in love but his world is crushed again. He is then saved by Apocalypse by recruiting him. Other characters under Apocalypse's reign are the teenage Storm who was discovered in the streets of Cairo, and Angel who is discovered in a fight club in Berlin.
Meanwhile, Business Standard says the said cover also features individual images of new cast such as Alexandra Shipp who plays Storm, Sophie Turner as Jean Grey, Tye Sheridan as Cyclops, Lana Candor as Jubilee and Kodi Smith-McPhee as Nightcrawler.
"X-Men: Apocalypse" will also be a movie that aims to answer the missing pieces in the previous X-Men movies.
