Rogue's cut footage in "X-men: Days of Future Past" will be available in DVDs, Digital HD and BluRay on July 14. The restored clip also features Jennifer Lawrence and other cast.
"X-Men: Days of Future Past", which was shown last year, had Anna Paquin's scene as Rogue in a limited time towards the later part. The said scene had to be cut due to the movie's restricted time. However, here's good news for fans. The said cut footage can be watched on Digital HD, DVDs and BluRay starting Tuesday. Examiner reports that during the Comic Con held recently, during the special screening of the said film, director Bryan Singer revealed about the Rogue Cut. The cut will run for 17 minutes which will make the movie longer. Singer apologized in advance if it would mean viewers would need to go to the bathroom due to the longer length of the movie. Many were able to watch the special screening made obvious by the long queues around the building.
The restored footage is said to be an important part of the whole movie. Capsule Computers reports that in "X-Men: Days of Future Past Rogue Cut" , Magneto (Michael Fassbender) leads the way to save Rogue in the future while in the past, he returns to the Pentagon to retrieve his helmet and ultimate power. The added scenes focus on Rogue, Magneto, Hank and Raven, Professor X and Bobby.
Jennifer Lawrence will also have a scene with ex-boyfriend Nicolas Hoult who play as Mystique and Beast respectively. According to Realty Today, based on a teaser of "X-Men: Days of Future Past" released online, Lawrence and Hoult are seen talking to each other. They also kiss and hug. Reports even say that the two are back in each other's arms again which explains the on and off relationship of Lawrence and Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin. The X-men love team however have not released a statement on this.
More scenes of Jennifer Lawrence and Nicolas Hoult will be seen in the third instalment of the X-men trilogy to be entitled "X-Men: Apocalypse". The said movie will hit theatres in the U.S. next year.
