Seth Rogens and Rose Byrne are set to return for the upcoming Neighbors 2 along with Zac Efron. Chloe Moretz has been confirmed to join the film and is rumored to star as one of the antagonist in the movie. The release date for the movie has also been pushed back.

The official title for the 2015 film Neighbors has been released and is now called Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising. Although there are no official plot details or synopsis revealed yet, as the title suggest, the story might be about a sorority group moving into the house that the previous fraternity group used in the first film.

Of course, Seth Rogens and his onscreen wife Rose Bryne are set to come back to reprise their roles. Zac Efron is also said to return. Efron, who acted as the enemy in the first film will be sought for help by Rogens in the sequel to fight against the new enemy. It is worth noting that Efron and Rogens became friends at the end of the first movie.

A new addition has also been made to the cast as Chloe Moretz is officially on board for a female lead role as reported by Movie Web. Moretz even shared the event in her Twitter page saying "Excited to announce I'll be apart of #Neighbors with @Sethrogen- Buckle up people ...it's the girls' time to take over.. ;)"

According to Slashfilm, despite her role was not specified yet, Moretz might play the role of the sorority leader, or at least one of the sorority's member.

Meanwhile, Universal also reportedly pushed back the release date for the film, but only for a week as reported by The Wrap. The film was first announced to be released on May 13, 2016, and it is now set to be released May 20, 2016.

Nicholas Stoller will direct Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising, and it will be written by Andrew Cohen, Evan Goldberg, Brendan O'Brien, Rogen, and Stoller. More details about the movie are expected to be released in the coming months.
