In an exclusive interview, Avril Lavigne opened up about her life and things that the public don't know about her. She dished about her dream of finally be able to act and be a part of Christmas movie, horror or comedy, film.
In a tell-all interview with US Weekly, the 30-year-old revealed that she sponsored 200 Olympics athletes from over 14 countries, her food, and her dream of moving to Italy in the future. She also disclosed to magazine that moviemaking is her next real dream.
"My next goal in life is moviemaking! I want to act in a Christmas movie, horror film, comedy, and more," the singer said. "After music, art, acting, and fashion design are my passions."
She said that she loves playing guitar, piano, drums, and bass aside from singing. She's also an art lover and spends time painting. When it comes to food, the singer boasted that Poutine, a Canadian dish would make her day. Her diet includes all-organic, sugar-free, dairy-free, yeast-free, gluten-free food.
The interview comes as one of the rare exposures of the "Hello Kitty" hitmaker after one year of not appearing in public. The singer just recently admitted her battle with Lyme disease.
On Saturday, the singer sang her debut single, "Fly" for the Special Olympics. It was her first public appearance after one year she was not seen on stage. The singer admitted on her Instagram that she wrote the song for people who are facing challenges, to encourage strength and to empower, according to Bustle.
Back in April, the Canadian singer was diagnosed with Lyme disease, a debilitating condition caused by tick bites causing joints, skin, nervous and heart problems. Lavigne is married to musician Chad Kroeger whom she married in 2013. She divorced her first husband Deryck Whibley, whom she married in 2006.
