The Netflix original political drama television series "House of Cards" is already shooting scenes for its Season 4 and fans have speculated that the much-awaited trailer will be released this December. Spoilers have also been revealed and it is rumored that a major character will be killed.
In a report by Breathe Cast, it is said that Dough Stamper, played by Michael Kelly, might be killed and removed from the storyline of "House of Cards" Season 4. Kelly reportedly said in an interview that he "was" a confidant of Frank Underwood so this means that he will no longer be part of the latter episode of the show's upcoming season. However, showrunner Beau Willimon said in a statement that he will not get rid of Kelly's character although there still is no assurance regarding this.
Kelly also said that Willimon is nothing but predictable so he is preparing himself if in case there will be major changes in his character, Master Herald reported. "House of Cards" Season 4, just like previous seasons, could take the fans aback as the show does not hesitate to kill characters whether or not they are an important part of the plot.
As for the trailer of the Netflix show's Season 4, a teaser trailer is expected to be released this December but the main trailer for the upcoming season is said to be revealed by February of next year. This speculation was based on the time when the previous seasons released the trailers, Ecumenical News reported.
Spoilers for the plot of "House of Cards" Season 4 were also released and it is said that Frank and Claire might go through a divorce since season 3 was focused on their strained relationship.
"House of Cards" Season 4 will also be introducing new characters as it was previously reported that Neve Campbell will be part of the upcoming episodes of the show. It is yet to be detailed what her character will be.
Nothing is certain as to what will happen in the show's fourth season so fans would have to wait for "House of Cards" to be aired on Netflix early next year.
