The love of a father: Chris Brown's appeal for child custody in his daughter, Royalty

By

There is no greater thing than the love of a mother. In the case of Chris Brown, he would like to prove to the world and to his daughter, Royalty, that he is also worthy of giving such love to his beloved. As he appeals for joint custody to her daughter, Chris Brown receives support from other people particularly Rihanna.

Nia Guzman, the mother of Royalty, requested a full custody for their 1-year old child because she believes that Chris Brown is an irresponsible father. According to TMZ, Nia was afraid for the safety of Royalty when she's with her dad because of Brown's recent issues of substance abuse.

In previous news, Nia appealed for supervised visitation only for Chris Brown towards their daughter. Brown, on the other hand, filed a counter affidavit for paternity to pursue joint custody for Royalty.

In the appeal of custody, Rihanna showed her support to Chris Brown and stated that she is ready to testify for him in court to prove to the judge who handles the case that Chris is a responsible and good father, according to Hollywood Life. It is known that Rihanna had an intimate relationship with Chris Brown but decided to separate ways later on.

Chris Brown posted on Instagram a quote and a picture showing how he loves his daughter and how he longs or misses to see Royalty. He quoted, "I honestly never knew I could love someone as strong as I do. I'm gonna give her the world." - @chrisbrownofficial

Previous news reported that face timing is the only mode of communication for Chris Brown and Royalty as the appeal of custody is ongoing. However, Nia has been making some excuses for Chris Brown not to be able to face time their child, which saddens the singer. The report added that Chris even cries himself to sleep because of missing his daughter.

At this moment, there is no decision yet for the appeal of both camps for Royalty from the judge who handles the case.
