The fate of the beloved character, Jon Snow, is one of the most talked topics over the internet apart from the upcoming 'Game of Thrones' season 6. Latest reports suggest that Snow is not through with the show yet, as actor Kit Harrington has been spotted with crew and other cast members of the show.
Is Jon Snow dead or alive? This is probably the biggest question that fans have been insisting after the character was seen lifeless in the previous season. But HBO executive Michael Lombardo has already confirmed Jon Snow's death during the San Diego Comic Con. And for those who don't know, Jon Snow being stabbed in the 'Game of Thrones' Season 5 finale at the Wall is also where Jon's story ends in the books of George RR Martin.
Although Lombardo has already confirmed Jon Snow's fate, latest reports are hinting that he could return in 'Game of Thrones' season 6.
Hollywood Take reports that Kit Harington has been spotted in Spain just in time to start filming the Season 6 of 'Game of Thrones' along with cast members. And he's still got his long hair and his beard and no upcoming projects. Still, his appearance in Belfast doesn't necessarily mean that Snow is alive. Harington could be there for a funeral scene or other scenes as Jon's body. However, it probably wouldn't take two weeks to film his funeral.
And also, the company that makes 'Game of Thrones' toys did not exclude Jon Snow. According to Movie Pilot, Jon was not on the list of the dead characters, which added the speculation that he could return anytime.
If Jon Snow will not bee seen in 'Game of Thrones' season 6, there is still a big possibility that he could resurrect on the next seasons. According to International Business Times, the executive producer and showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss are very open to have more seasons after the 6th installment. And previously, Benioff and Weiss have already said that they're willing to depart from the A Song of Ice and Fire novels in future. This could be a good thing because it could mean that they can bring back characters like Jon Snow, since they won't have to follow George RR Martin's novels.
