Tim Kring eyes back Heroes' 16 million viewers from the first episode in 2006 with his Heroes Reborn comes September 24 in NBC.
The creator of TV miniseries Heroes, after a decade, is finally back in his game with his old and new heroes in the 13th episode that recounts the life of common people who later discover their not so common abilities.. their super powers.
NBC, last July 12, gave the anticipating fans of Heroes a quick look on where Kring is taking them this fall. The plot issued by NBC dates us back a year ago in Odessa, Texas. The city was wrecked by a terrorist attack which was pointed against the humans with unnatural and unsafe powers. Joanne Collins, (would be played by The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 actress Judith Shekoni) the vigilante mother seeking revenge for the death of his son in the Odessa tragedy, calls them enhanced humans.
These people with extraordinary abilities are haunted and shot in streets. The heroes are now in hiding. That being so, the world turned to be more chaotic than ever. There are civil wars, significant raise of crime rates and worst even unsafe homes. People are now calling for heroes but their efforts seem to be invain.
Meanwhile, Pastemagazine introduces to us, the new heroes Tommy (would be played by Once Upon a Time actor Robbie Kay), Malina (would be played by Shameless actress Donika Yarosh) and Miko (would be played by Death Yankee 3 actress Kiki Sukazane) discover their powers but grow more and more frightened because they could not take control of their abilities and more so that they are being haunted.
This is where the old heroes come in. Heroes like Hiro (played still by actor Masi Oka) guides the new ones to be in their spirit. Digitalspy further says that the other old heroes can't just stay out and later find themselves back in like Noah Bennet (still played by Jack Coleman) .
At the end the heroes, old and new, come together to save mankind and the world and Kring's tasks is to make it happen. Keep watch because comes September 24 in NBC, heroes will be reborn.
