Chris Hemsworth just turned one year older and he's now 32 years old. The actor celebrated his 32nd birthday on August 11. He's proven himself to be such a gifted actor and a comedian, and has tons of upcoming projects next year.

Hemsworth, best known for his role as Thor, turned 32. This past year has been pretty amazing for him and he has surely plenty of reasons to celebrate.

The Australian actor has shown massive success and it's just remarkable that Hemsworth's two brothers, Liam and Luke were right by his side to support him in his best moments.

As a matter of fact, when Thor hosted Saturday Night Live in March, Liam and Luke joined the movie star in acting out his opening monologue. He also played the role of an amazingly good- looking anchorman. He also reappeared as thunder God character, Thor, in "Avengers: Age of Ultron".

The hunky actor proved that he is an in demand since he will again lead a movie set to be released in December 2015 entitled "In the Heart of the Sea". According to In the Heart of the Sea official homepage, The actor who starred in the movies "The Avengers" and "Rush" will play the role of a vessel's veteran first mate Owen Chase.

He must have made a mark this last year with his comedic stunts. It was also announced that Thor will be taking on the role of a receptionist in the much awaited 2016 all-female adaptation of "Ghostbusters".

Another film the actor has bagged in 2016 is "The Huntsman". The movie is set to be shown in theatres April 2016. Hemsworth will act as an orphan boy raised in the jungle with the help of a pack of wolves, a bear, and a black panther, as mentioned in IMDb.

But the actor's much- anticipated film in July 2017 "Thor: Ragnarok", Hemsworth will again play the character of the muscle- packed Thor. All of the Thunder God's fandom may be very excited to hear the big news.

Arguably his most deserved accomplishment is that Hemsworth was named People's Sexiest Man Alive for 2014. His world- wide fans couldn't agree more. From his perfectly blonde hair, to the muscles, to those abs, Chris Hemsworth is the total idol for his Marvel fans.
