Filming for Disney's live action movie Beauty and the Beast has recently concluded, and actor Josh Gad shared a photo of him on their snowy set. Emma Watson, who plays the female lead role, clarified the rumors about a kidnapping plot targeted toward her.
Josh Gad, who plays the role of Le Fou shared a photo on Instagram of their last day of filming for the much awaited live action film. As reported by Cinemablend, the photo shows Gad and actor Luke Evans on a long, snowy, gothic-looking staircase.
Gad's character, Le Fou, is the sidekick of Evans' Gaston. As reported by Mugglenet, Gad captioned the photo with the words "That's a wrap! Will miss the cast of #beautyandthebeast especially my brilliant Gaston#LukeEvans".
Meanwhile, actress Emma Watson, who plays Belle was confirmed by E Online as safe and sound, following the rumors that a kidnapping plot was targeted toward her by some of the staff from the set. The rumors reportedly started when a taxi driver overheard the discussion of some of the employees about the alleged plot.
The taxi driver then reported the said discussion to his management, who later forwarded the information to the studio staff. The rumors are now clarified as not true.
Watson previously confirmed her involvement with the film in her Facebook page saying, "it almost feels surreal that I'll get to dance to 'Be Our Guest' and sing 'Something There'. My 6-year-old self is on the ceiling-heart bursting. Time to start some singing lessons. I can't wait for you to see it." She said.
Some of the songs from the 1991 Disney animated film, and its subsequent Broadway musical are expected to be featured in the upcoming live action flick. But aside from that, new songs are also said to be included.
Aside from Watson, Gad, and Evans, the cast of Beauty and the Beast also includes Dan Stevens as the Beast, Ewan McGregor as Lumiere, Kevin Kline as Maurice, Gugu Mbatha-Taw as Plumette, Stanley Tucci as Cadenza, and Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts. It is directed by Bill Condon and is set to hit theaters in March 17, 2017.
