"Grey's Anatomy" Season 11 ended with a lot of tears shed and heartbreak as McDreamy, also known as Dr. Derek Shepherd, was killed off but it is said that Meredith Grey will be having a new interest for Season 12. Another rumor that has been spreading like wildfire is that Callie and Arizona are bound to date women in the show's upcoming episodes.
In a report by Daily Times Gazette, Meredith Grey will be living with her sisters and at first she is not at all interested in getting back on the dating pool. However, she will be trying to get her life back on track after the death of her husband. The first episodes of Season 12 will focus on Grey's life as she tries to get everything back to normal after the unfortunate loss.
Ellen Pompeo, the actress who plays Meredith, said in an interview, "So many people lose their spouses in a myriad of different ways and feel they can't get up again and to tell the story of how life goes on after...that's a story worth telling." Showrunner Shonda Rhimes also said that there will be a new flame for Meredith although it will not be early in the season. Actor Martin Henderson will be the new doctor in Season 12 and it remains unknown if this will be Meredith's new love.
In a report by The Christian Post, another spoiler was revealed and it is about Callie and Arizona as they will both be seen dating women in "Grey's Anatomy" Season 12. Rhimes said in a recent interview that they will both be dating a woman and although they are not establishing Callie as a bisexual, it seems that for Season 12, that's what her character is trying to say.
Meanwhile, Sandrah Oh's Christina might back as she might just support her best friend Meredith in her time of need. Although it was not specified that she will be back in "Grey's Anatomy" Season 12 as a guest, International Business Times reported that the actress talked to Rhimes before. Oh shared that she and Rhimes made a deal that she will definitely make a guest appearance before the show gets off air although there was no specific timeframe given.
"Grey's Anatomy" will be returning this September 24.
