"The Big Bang Theory" will be back soon and it is reported that it will be about Sheldon figuring out why Amy broke up with him. It was rumored before that Amy will be seeing another man so it might be possible that Sheldon will do something to take her back.
In a report by Master Herald, fans of the show were shocked as Amy wanted to take a break from her five-year relationship with Sheldon. It is yet to be determined if the "Shamy" love team will still push through in "The Big Bang Theory" Season 9 but the aftermath of the break-up will be seen early on the show's comeback.
Breathe Cast reports that Sheldon will try to understand why Amy broke up with him and that he will be disappointed. However, he might pursue Amy despite her decision to break things off and possibly show her the ring that he was supposed to let her see when they had a video call before the Season 8 finale ended. A plot synopsis for the premiere episode of Season 9 was released and it suggested that Sheldon could think of accelerating his relationship with Amy as it was what she wanted but it might backfire on him, Breathecast reported.
It was also revealed that Penny and Leonard will be in a problematic face as Penny cannot believe that her fiancé cheated on her, Christian Post reported. The two were on their way to Las Vegas to get married but while they were in the car, Leonard admitted to Penny that he kissed a woman he met while at the North Sea expedition if he was in a relationship with Penny. Penny seemed pissed off and it remains unknown if the two will still get married or maybe cancel it.
It was also rumored in the past weeks that Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady, the creators of the show, want the viewers to know who is the woman behind the cheating scandal that Leonard is involved in. Reports suggest that it will be portrayed by actress Melissa Tang and she will be introduced in episode 2 but confirmations about this have not yet been announced.
There is no specific date yet as to when "The Big Bang Theory" Season 9 will return on CBS.
