Motorola has just released the 2015 version of Moto G, and taking the vantage point at the reviews of the latest smartphone one could never go wrong buying the budget device that is in a way nailing premium features.
The Moto G (3rd Gen) smartphone is in head-to-head battle with several other handsets of the same level in the tech department but what makes it stand out is its features that is almost in parallel with high-end smartphones.
Design
Moto G 2015's selling point for now perhaps is its IPX7 giving the device the capacity to be water resistant. Praised for its great build quality, the device also comes with a MicroSD support.
Display
Rocking a 5-inch full HD display, the 2015 Moto G has 1080p screen made of Corning Gorilla Glass 3, only a notch behind Apple's iPhones.
Battery
With its 2,470 mAh non-removable battery, the smartphone will run one whole day of usage. Not bad at all. Through a popular vide test for new smartphones, the 2015 Moto G eats up only 32 percent of battery life with the video's 161-minute runtime.
Storage
The device is running on a 2 GB of internal memory while extension storage can carry up to 32 GB.
Camera
Camera is perhaps also one of the most important factor manufacturers have to consider since it can be a selling point of a brand. With the 2015 Moto G, its rear camera is made of a 13 MP sensor while its front shooter has 5 MP capacity. This number is not far from Apple's iPhones and Samsung's high-end Galaxy devices running from 5 MP also to 15.
Software and Performance
The third gen Moto G is powered by Snapdragon 410 with only four cores, but this does not necessarily mean poorer performance over the other brands. Alongside Snapdragon 410, Moto G's system is also running with the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system which brings a good number of useful features.
Meanwhile, the smartphone is also supported with 4G network. It also is known for an extensive customization and performance optimization.
Price
Moto G 2015 is sold at US $180, way cheaper than Apple's iPhone 6 release price last year.
