Thanos is set to return and come face to face with earth's greatest heros in the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War Part 1, however, Josh Brolin admitted that he still doesn't know which film his character will appear next.

As reported by Comicbook.com, Thanos was last seen in the mid-credits scene of the Avengers: Age of Ultron. Thanos was seen slipping his hand into the Infinity Gauntlet and declared that he will gather the gems all by himself.

If the story in the comics are to go by, Thanos could eventually gather all Infinity gems, go against all the members of the Avengers. But after his appearance in the previous film, many are curious as to when fans will see Thanos again, and according to Screen Rant, Josh Brolin who voiced Thanos also doesn't know where the character is heading next.

"I don't know which one I'm in [next]. That's a Kevin Feige question. I know the trajectory of what they're doing, but I don't know exactly which one I'm in." Brolin said. When asked about the Avenger he wants to defeat, Brolin revealed his enthusiasm to overpower all member of the team. "I don't have a favorite because it's me against all of them. I think the entirety is what I'm most looking forward to. Each and every one. I'm bringing the wrath." the actor said.

Meanwhile, according to Movie Pilot, Thanos might not appear in the Infinity War as the sole villain. As hinted by director Joss Whedon, he might be joined by either the personification of Death, or a reincarnated Red Skull.

In the comics, Thanos gathered the Infinity gems in order to destroy all life in the universe as his gift for the love of his life, Lady Death. If the upcoming movie will follow the story in the comics, Lady Death might reportedly appear in the upcoming film.

If not Lady, Death, the Nazi villain, Red Skull could reportedly come back if Thanos choose to resurrect him using the Infinity gem that was used to kill him in Captain America: The First Avenger. However, Hugo Weaving who previously played the character said that he is unlikely to come back, but if ever Marvel choose to have his character back, he has a multi-picture contract to comply with.

Not much has been officially revealed thus far regarding the plot for Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 but more details are expected to be released in the coming months. It is set to hit theaters in May 04, 2018.
