The Japanese Computer Entertainment Supplier's Association recently released the line-up of the announced titles that will possibly appear during the Tokyo Game Show. So far, of the game titles expected to be featured amongst various platforms, PS4 and PS Vita topped the list. On the other hand, Sony reportedly plans to cut down price for PS Vita and PS4 consoles to dominate prices against Microsoft's Xbox One.
The released Tokyo Game Show title line-up showed that 44 games will be featured for PS4, according to Dual Shockers. Following closely behind is the PS Vita with 33 game titles and PS3 with 28. Other consoles to join this year's Tokyo Game Show event are 3DS, DS, Wii U, Wii, Xbox One and Xbox 360. Several game titles for Steam and the PC will make it to the exhibition floor.
Sony has even unveiled some of the confirmed game titles that they will feature during the Tokyo game show, IGN reported. Some of the games that will make it to Sony's PS4 booth are Star Wars: Battlefront, Street Fighter V, Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir, Destiny: The Taken King, Call of Duty: Black Ops III, Pro Evolution Soccer 2016, and many more.
Meanwhile, confirmed PS Vita titles that will be featured during the Tokyo Game Show are Airship Q, Minecraft: PS Vita Edition, Tokyo Xanadu and God Eater: Resurrection. Sony noted that their game list included titles that they could already disclose at this time. This hints on a possibility that additional games will be unveiled at a later date or during the event.
In other news, a Gamerant article published in April mentioned rumors that Sony is planning to cut down prices for the PS4 and PS Vita platforms. Until now, Sony has yet to decline or confirm the rumored console sale. However, the company recently held a Retro Discount Sale for some of its classic games on PS3, PS4 and PS Vita. The special discount ended September 1 in the U.S.
Loyal Playstation owners and gamers alike will surely watch out for the latest game title news from Sony's event booth. The 2015 Tokyo Game Show will kick start on September 17 and will run until September 20.
