"Arrow" Season 4 might just feature Green Lantern despite earlier reports that Oliver Queen or Arrow will not be teaming up with the said superhero. A new photo has surfaced featuring the two so fans are again hopeful that the team-up might happen anytime in season 4.
There has been no official trailer yet for "Arrow" Season 4 so it remains unknown what are to expect in the upcoming episodes. However, co-showrunner Marc Guggenheim recently teased about the possibility that Green Lantern will be features in the show's upcoming season, Screen Crush reported.
Guggenheim was the one who denied before that an Arrow and Green Lantern team up will never happen in the show but he was also the one who shared the production art showing the two characters side by side. In the fine print of the photo, it was written that it is a billboard put up in Coast City, Newsarama reported. It also bore the caption "Production art for Arrow season 4" so fans have gone really crazy over the possibility on their social media accounts.
Meanwhile, according to Den of Geek, there were a lot of Green Lantern references during "Arrow" Season 3. The publication shared that Coast City was mentioned a lot of times and the character Ferris Air kept popping up on many of the previous episodes.
Just a backtrack, in the season 3 finale of "Arrow," Oliver Queen was seen heading to Coast City, the hometown of the Green Lantern as it will be used for the flashback scenarios for season 4. During this year's San Diego Comic Con, it was also announced that the upcoming episodes will feature a lot of time spent in Coast City and that Arrow will meet an old friend.
"Arrow" season 4 could possibly feature Green Lantern as per newly released production art. Also, Oliver Queen will be seen in Coast City so fans are hopeful for the anticipated Arrow and Green Lantern team-up. The show will be back on October 7.
