Apple has recently declared a fresh partnership with Cisco that will grant a "fast lane" for commercial enterprise clients who use IOS devices on Cisco's networks and push iPhone and the iPad into Cisco's enterprise settings.
On a joint event that was held last Monday, Tim Cook reportedly uttered that Apple is "all in on the enterprise" while calling the Cisco deal, "the Holy Grail" of partnerships, 9to5mac wrote. This Apple-Cisco partnership intends to help Apple's mobile devices to communicate more efficiently on business networks which Cisco stuff is being widely used.
Furthermore, the Apple and Cisco said to also have a plan of working together on technology that will support the iPhones and iPads workers of having a better exploit to Cisco's associated products, such as its video- and Web-conferencing services.
According to to Tim Cook (Apple Chief Executive) and John Chambers (Cisco Chairman), their firms consumed 10 months working in collaboration which they summarized to thousands of Cisco sales representatives on Monday during the gathering in Las Vegas, reports WSJ.
In an interview, "It became clear to me that partnering with Cisco would yield the results that would enable us to transform work," Mr. Cook said. That announcement by Apple indicates that the company has taken steps to create a more extensive presence in commercial enterprise.
The Computer World reports that the Cisco networks and iOS devices that will be optimized to work together with more efficiency and reliability are simply the big news here. This significance will be appreciated if a user considers the vitality of Cisco to networks all over the globe, with a huge existence in integrated communications, SDN, the information center and wireless infrastructure.
Moreover, it is said that the Cisco partnership adds to Apple's collective effort in terms of targeting business with iPhones and iPads.
