"Neighbors 2" gives a recent update to its fans revealing that Selena Gomez will be part of the movie as a sorority sister of Chloe Moretz. The sequel is also said to be sticking pretty closely to its original formula at the same time giving the plot a finely tuned twist.
The sequel of the 2014 comedy hit will go by the title "Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising." Obviously, this is the reason why new female cast members will be introduced in the upcoming film. The newest addition to the cast of the film is Selena Gomez, Movie Web reports.
It has been previously announced that Chloe Moretz will join the cast of the sequel as the sorority leader, taking the lead spot. This time, the studio welcomes Selena in the project as the sorority sister of Chloe. According to the report, "the former Disney princess turned Spring Breaker is going to be throwing one massive hiss fit ony the lawn of her sorority house."
Some pictures are coming out in E! as proof that Selena has started filming with the rest of the cast in Atlanta. Though the studio is keeping the plot of the next installment of "Neighbors," it is evident that the creators of the movie will be clinging to its original formula though it will feature a few significant twists along the way. It is no longer the boys that would give headaches to their neighbors, but the girls.
No one from the production or studio have confirmed any of the speculations. But E! plays detective and have some theories about the plot of the "Neighbors" sequel. According to the online magazine, Gomez's character is Madison, who is a "sorority arch-rival and nemesis to Chloe Moretz" and who wants to oust Moretz as the leader. To fulfill her plan, Madison has created a "secret army of sorority soldiers" to help execute her hidden agenda. Beanie Feldstein and Kersey Clemons will portray the other sisters in the sorority.
Star Pulse also adds that Seth and Zac will now team up in the "Sorority Rising" to go against the new neighbors who recently move in. That being said, it would appear that the sorority girls are nastier that the frat boys.
Selena Gomez and Chloe Moretz will be leading the sororit girls in making their neighbor's life miserable in the upcoming movie sequel "Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising." Beanie Feldstein and Kersey Clemons will join the girls for more sisterly fun and adventures in the comedy film.
