Disney's Beauty and the Beast live-action adaptation is under way and a sneak peek of Emma Watson as Belle wearing the iconic yellow dress was released in D23 Expo. Sean Bailey confirmed that new songs will be featured in the upcoming film.

Emma Watson is playing as the famous French Princess of Disney, Belle, and is set to capture the hearts of many in its upcoming release. However, before it is released into the big screen, Beauty and The Beast Live-action film was featured in the D23 Expo where Walt Disney's President of Production, Sean Bailey, revealed bits of information about the film.

As reported by Entertainment Weekly, Bailey shared their goal in creating the movie. "Our goal with this film was to bring the story to life in a way so that all of you who know and love it will be rewarded", Bailey said. He also said that the film will be musical, like the previous animated film, and added that Emma Watson as Belle looks stunning.

According to UPI, the first few seconds of the film were shown in the Expo, and images of Watson wearing the iconic yellow dress were also reportedly featured. Since pictures and videos were prohibited, no photo or video have made it to the internet yet, however, some netizens expressed their reactions in the internet. Most, if not all, of the reactions, agree that the movie was visually stunning.

"The crowds went wild for it", One of the commenters reportedly shared. "The set, visuals, costumes, etc. were beautiful. No footage of the objects or the beast.", the commenter added. Other comments suggested that Watson looked "gorgeous" in the yellow dress, and that the set pieces and the village looked a lot like in the animated film.

Also, like the animated film, Bailey revealed that the upcoming film will be musical and assured that the musical numbers will be lavish and joyous. As reported by Movie News Guide, the music for the film is written by Alan Menken and Sir Tim Rice. Two new songs are also expected to be featured in the upcoming film.

No footage or photos of the beast or the things in the castle were revealed yet, but more details about Beauty and the Beast Live-Action are expected to be released as it nears its March 17, 2017 release date. It also stars Dan Stevens as Beast, Luke Evans as Gaston, Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts, Ewan McGregor as Lumiere, Ian McKellen as Cogsworth, Kevin Kline as Maurice, and Josh Gad as Le Fou. It is directed by Bill Condon.
