Alice will continue the fight against the evil plans of the Red Queen in Resident Evil: The Final Chapter. Milla Jovovich has been revealing set photos in her Instagram account, and was spotted juggling her responsibilities as a mother and actress during her training for the role.
The sixth and final instalment in the series is currently in the works, and the franchise lead, Jovovich released a photo on Instagram of her gore make up test for the upcoming film. As reported by Movie Pilot, fans can expect another action packed, and bloody scenes in the upcoming movie as Jovovich recently shared a photo of her make up looking like scratches and wounds.
Jovovich also posted a photo of her with a fresh looking fake wound on her cheek. Aside from her and the make up artist, Jovovich's husband, who is also the film's director can be seen in the photo, checking in on her. Also, as reported by Daily Mail, Jovovich was spotted during training for her role. In the report, Jovovich was also seen juggling her responsibilities as an actress and as a mom to her two children, Ever, 7 years old, and Dashiel, five months old. The actress was seen training for her action scenes with her stunt coordinator, and stunt double actress.
The upcoming film's production wass been delayed for a couple of times, originally set to begin filming in 2013, filming was pushed back to 2014, and again pushed further to 2015 due to Jovovich's pregnancy with her second child.
According to The Movie Network, the upcoming film will pick up after the events in Resident Evil: Retribution and will witness the return of Ali Larter as Claire Redfield, Wentworth Miller as Chris Redfield, Bingbing Li as Ada Wong, Sienna Guillory as Jill Valentine, and Johanna Urb as Leon S. Kennedy. Spencer Locke who played K-Mart in the previous film is also rumored to return.
Aside from South Africa, filming for Resident Evil: The Final Chapter will also take place in several other countries like Autralia, Germany, Russia, New York, and Canada. It will be directed and written by Paul W.S. Anderson, and set to be released in theaters in January 27, 2017.
