As reported by Christian Post, Chris Wynn, Senior Development Director for Mass Effect, announced through social media that things are going according to plan, in terms of the game's scheduled release. Moreover, there could be more brand new races for the game as it will take place in a new galaxy, he further elaborated.
It also became a rumor that Mass Effect 4: Andromeda will contain the Helios Cluster, and was noted to be extremely massive, as delivered by Express. But on a more negative side, it was confirmed that the older characters from the original trilogy are not to be included in Mass Effect 4: Andromeda. This is due to the fact that it will not be a sensible choice to add them to the game at this state, according to Mr. Wynn.
Wynn clarified that the game will retain the essences of the first few games in the franchise, but will of course, have ample improvements. The cooperative multiplayer features of Mass Effect will be making a comeback in Mass Effect 4: Andromeda, to further imply.
Story-wise, the plot of the said game will be completely new. Instead of the Commander Shepard that people are used to, it will initially transpire within the story of a character known as "Pathfinder". There has been no information yet as to who it is, but will definitely be one to look out for by all the gamers.
