Sienna Miller opens up about the "Curse of Motherhood", calls 2014 the "S--ttiest Year"

For Sienna Miller, the last year has been one of extremes. Apart from struggling to cope up with motherhood, she also went through a break up with her former beau, Tom Sturridge. The "American Sniper" actress recently opened up about her experiences in 2014.

In an interview for the October issue of British Vogue, the 33-year-old actress admitted that life has been really quite overwhelming for her as everything had been full of highs and lows. "Everything's shifting. It's actually been the s--ttiest year, and amazing. It's always yin and yang," she revealed. "I feel like if you're excelling in one area, it's hard to manage both and I do feel like the work is going really well."

Indeed, Miller juggled her schedules just to be a mother, an actress, and a partner. She actually had made a lot of films ever since she showed up in 2014's "Foxcatcher" and "American Sniper". According to reports, the star has no fewer than four movies in the can for 2015, including the Bradley Cooper drama "Burnt".

Meanwhile, the actress is still in the coping stage since her split with longtime partner, Tom Sturridge, as mentioned by E! News. The two share a 3-year old daughter, Marlowe, whom they welcomed in July 2012. The actress shared, "Obviously when you have a baby it's the most incredible experience but your life is also catapulted into this chaos and you are exhausted." Miller added that it's probably "the curse of motherhood" and noted that it's not healthy to punish herself with a guilt feeling.

Obviously, Miller's recent split from her daughter's father didn't exactly help with her current situation. A source close to the former couple told The Sun via the Mirror, "It was just a case of them being honest with each other and putting first the fact they are parents." The source even continued by stating, "They still love and respect each other as friends and parents. It's a very amicable breakup and they intend to remain great friends."

Like most other mothers, Sienna Miller also desires to manage motherhood better. Though she may have described it as a curse, she purportedly wouldn't trade motherhood for anything.
