The final four playable characters for "Samurai Warriors 4-II" were recently revealed by Koei Tecmo. This batch will complete the cast and the whole plot will comprise 14 episodes. But this time around, the story will center on the characters.
These four playable characters were seen in previous "Samurai Warriors" titles, according to Siliconera. Gracia, Mitsuhide Akechi's daughter and a fan favorite, was a familiar face from "Samurai 2". She was also seen in "Pokemon Conquest", and "Warriors Orochi 2". The other three characters returning in "Samurai Warriors 4-11" are "Takatora Todo" from "Samurai Warriors" and "Nobunaga's Ambition"; Lady Hayakawa, daughter of Ujiyasu Hojo, who debuted in Samurai Warriors 4"; and Yoshisugu Utani, who first appeared in "Samurai Warriors 4" as well.
Previous "Samurai Warriors" titles centered on stories which explored the various regions of feudal Japan, as mentioned in a report in Worth Playing. This time, in "Samurai Warriors 4-11", the stories of each of the 9 characters will be the highlight and will run through the 13 exciting new chapters.
Many new and improved features were included in this "Samurai Warriors" title, as the battle, action, and character development were overhauled. A new game mode is also being introduced in the game: the "Endless Castle". Players have to survive in the game for as long as possible, or they can choose to play in a limited time and test themselves on how far they can climb into the castle's continuously difficult levels.
On the other hand, Koei Tecmo had also released a host of new screenshots for "Samurai Warriors 4-II", displaying the different customizable weapons and mounts that can be used throughout the game, according to Capsule Computers. Both tools have various ranks and levels. If a player combines some distinct elemental attribute with these weapons, they can acquire "Compatibility Bonuses" that will allow their gears to break its limits and even unlock extremely powerful abilities.
"Samurai Warriors 4-II" is considered the revised version of "Samurai Warriors 4". This will be the last title to celebrate the series' 10th anniversary. It will be available on Playstation 4 on September 29. The game will also be made available digitally on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita and PC via Steam.
