The synopsis for "Castle" Season 8's premiere episode has been released and it is said that a mysterious character will be appearing in the upcoming episodes of the series. It was also revealed that Hayley and Kate will be working together.
According to Realty Today, the mysterious character is the caller from the teaser trailer who kidnaps Kate Beckett and sets off an explosive chain of events. The synopsis reads, "Castle and Beckett are adjusting to Beckett's career change in the action-packed premiere. But things will take an unexpected turn after a call from a mysterious stranger set off an explosive chain of events."
In the recent teaser trailer, Beckett and Castle were seen celebrating the new promotion of the former. However, the festivities are cut short as the caller sets the two apart after Castle does everything to save Beckett. It is rumored that the mysterious character will be played by Jack Coleman as Senator William Bracken.
Just a backtrack, Beckett was not sure if she will stay in the police station or if she will be running for Senate. As per reports and the teaser trailer, Beckett has chosen the first career she has been doing for years now. It was also revealed that the first two episodes of "Castle" season 8 will show the kidnapping from the perspective of Rick and the second from the perspective of Kate.
Aside from these spoilers, Castle will be working with Hayley Shipton, Christian Today reported. Executive producer Alexi Hawley said in a statement, "She doesn't do things [the way the police would], so it's that fun dynamic of we break in rather than get a warrant."
The Ryan family will also be having an additional member of their family in "Castle" Season 8 as per report of Christian Post.
"Castle" Season 8 will be showing a new character that is said to be responsible for the kidnapping of Kate Beckett. The Ryan family will also see a new member of their family. The series' season 8 will be premiering on September 21.
