"Avengers Infinity Wars" will feature Thanos the Mad Titan. Thanos' clash with the Avengers will lead to Captain Marvel possibly replacing one of the original Avengers in the process. Being a common enemy of the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy there might be a possibility that both teams will meet.
Movie Web reports that it is still unclear if there is a finality of Thanos appearing in "Captain America: Civil War" since production has ended just a few weeks ago. A possibility of a reshoot is there though. When asked, even Josh Brolin who plays Thanos is unsure as to which part of the "Avengers Infinity Wars" movie he will be injected in. But if you have watched the "Avengers: Age Of Ultron," Thanos was shown in the end credit with the Infinity Gauntlet and said "Fine. I'll do it myself." Another part that filled the gaps was when Thor was placed under Scarlet Witch's spell, where he learned about the Infinity Stones. Josh Brolin adds that he is looking forward to the film as a whole but he is sure to bring the wrath upon each and every one of the Avengers as Thanos.
Like the insertion of Thanos in "Avengers Infinity Wars" so is the uncertainty of the part that Captain Marvel will play on the sequel. Movie Pilot states that her role in the series is critical. Speculations suggest that life of one of the major Avengers will come to an end in this series. The hints pointed out are the contracts of Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth and Chris Evans is not included in the part 2 of the Infinity Wars. In addition to that are speculations that Bucky will replace Captain America and Thor being imprisoned or even dying. Another is RDJ's possibility of hanging up the iron suite for the reason that he has already grown weary of the role as a superhero.
Christian Post gives another angle of where the heroes of "Avengers Infinity Wars" will possibly gather together with the Guardians of the Galaxy. Having Thanos as a common adversary where he is both an interstellar threat as well as global one because his search will also be in the planet Earth. The probability for that event to transpire is quite huge. It is also noted that Thanos also appeared very briefly in the movie "Guardians of the Galaxy." Both teams also have a common goal which is to prevent Thanos from collecting the Infinity Stones. Otherwise he will be a god and will be utterly unstoppable from thereon.
The "Avenger Infinity Wars" will arrive in theaters on May 4, 2018 for part 1 and May 3, 2019 for part 2. Production has already been scheduled to start on the last part of 2016. The title Infinity and the Infinity Stones needed for Thanos' Infinity Glove probably already says it all. Nevertheless, Only Marvel Studios and its people can know all that. Moviegoers will just have to wait until it hits movie houses.
